Ingredients
  • The Crust Part:
  • 1 8oz Cream Cheese,room warmth
  • 2 Sticks Butter
  • 2 Cups Flour
  • The Apple Part:
  • 6 Apples,core,peeled
  • Butter
  • Sugar
  • Dash of Cinnamon
  • Dash of Nutmeg
  • The Syrup Part:
  • 1 Cup sugar
  • 2 Cups 7-up
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter
  • 3 Tablespoons Red Hots
  • 1 Tablespoon Good Rum
  • 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg

Directions
  1. For the Crust:
  2. Mix ,chill,roll,cut into squares.
  3. Place one apple in each squares.
  4. Sprinkle inside the cored apple with cinnamon,nutmeg,sugar,and a pat of butter.
  5. Fold crust over and around apple,pinch to seal.
  6. Place in a 9x12" baking dish.
  7. For the Syrup:
  8. Combine all in a pan,cook until sugar and red hots are dissolved,bring to boil.
  9. Pour over Apple Dumplings,bake in 375 degree oven for 35 to 40 minutes.
  10. ~Nice as they are,cooled a bit out of the oven...but,a scoop of good Vanilla Ice Cream,does'nt hurt~
