Peanut butter Fudge

Fudge can be tricky, but don't let it scare you, if it doesn't turn out the first time, try again. It's not a waste as you can use your mistake for other desserts
Ingredients
- 2c. sugar shopping list
- 3/4 c milk shopping list
- 3/4 c. p. butter shopping list
- 2 t. vanilla shopping list
- softball stage- about 2 drops of liquid into a glass of cold water. Mold mixture with finger. If it stays in the shape of a softball, your their! shopping list
How to make it
- Pour sugar and milk into sauce pan.
- Bring to a boil.
- Check for softball stage while ingredients are boiling.
- Once you have reached the softball stage cont to boil for 2.5 minutes.
- Remove from burner and add p.butter and vanilla.
- Stir vigorously to blend ingredients. You will notice that fudge will lose its glossyness.
- Pour into well buttered pan. I prefer to use my glass pie plates. It will set up in about 2 hours, but I tend to sneak a taste after about 15 minutes. Enjoy!
