How to make it

  • Pour sugar and milk into sauce pan.
  • Bring to a boil.
  • Check for softball stage while ingredients are boiling.
  • Once you have reached the softball stage cont to boil for 2.5 minutes.
  • Remove from burner and add p.butter and vanilla.
  • Stir vigorously to blend ingredients. You will notice that fudge will lose its glossyness.
  • Pour into well buttered pan. I prefer to use my glass pie plates. It will set up in about 2 hours, but I tend to sneak a taste after about 15 minutes. Enjoy!
