Creamy Chicken Wild Rice Soup In Crockpot

Ingredients
- 1 Whole Chicken cut in half (about 3-4 pounds)
- 4 medium carrots sliced
- 2 stalks celery sliced
- 2-3 cloves garlic chopped
- 1 large onion chopped
- 1 pepper chopped (red or green, or both)
- 2 tsp dried rosemary
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1 tsp lemon peel
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 3 (14 oz) chicken broth
- 3/4 to 1 cup uncooked wild rice, rinsed & drained
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1/4 cup parsley
How to make it
- Cut chicken in half and remove as many of rib bones as possible
- In crockpot add veggies, chicken, seasonings, rice, broth, soup
- Turn on high for about 5 hours
- Remove chicken, take off skin, and cut up in to pieces
- Lower to low for another hours
- Done!!
