How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350
  • Grease 8x8 or 9x9 inch pan
  • Cream butter, brown sugar and peanut butter until smooth
  • Beat in eggs and vanilla
  • In another mixing bowl, sift flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon
  • Add dry ingredients to creamed butter mixture with peanuts and chocolate chips Stir until smooth
  • Put batter in greased pan and smooth
  • Bake 30-35 minutes depending on size pan you use

    Lovely recipe. That picture looks like a "Hintermeister" He used to live across the street from us and he did the most awesome scenes of kids in beach settings in pastels and watercolors. He was our local "Rockwell" in the early 60's. I wonder if that is one of his creations. The style is so similar. Love the blondies by the way...a favorite of ours too. Glad I wasn't the only one who thought it might be a drink. LOL...and look it has cinnamon which is a good antioxident, so these are healthy for you too.
