- * 3 cups all-purpose flour shopping list
- * 2 tablespoons baking powder shopping list
- * 1/4 cup vegetable oil (1/4 cup melted butter optional) shopping list
- * 1 1/2 cups water shopping list
- * 1/4 tsp salt shopping list
How to make it
- Ingredients
- * 3 cups all-purpose flour
- * 2 tablespoons baking powder
- * 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- * 1 1/2 cups water
- * 1 pinch salt
- Directions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 350
- 2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, salt, water and oil or butter. Knead on a lightly floured surface for about 10 minutes. Let it rest for a minute, then spread out onto a cookie sheet to 3/4 to 1 inch thickness. Poke holes in the dough using a fork.
- 3. Bake for 25 minutes in the preheated oven, until the bottom is golden when you lift up the bread to take a peek.
- Optional cooking method:
- In lightly greased frying pan ( I prefer cast iron, but non stick will work) heart 2 tbs vegetable oil until hot. place bread in pan and cook 15 mins each side
