Almond Cheesecake

- For crust: shopping list
- 1 Cup graham cracker crumbs shopping list
- 1/4 Cup ground toasted almonds shopping list
- 2 Tbsp. sugar shopping list
- 1 Tbsp. Amaretto di Saronno shopping list
- For filling: shopping list
- 24 oz. cream cheese shopping list
- 1/2 Cup sugar shopping list
- 2 Tbsp. flour shopping list
- 1/3 Cup Amaretto di Saronno shopping list
- 4 eggs shopping list
- For topping: shopping list
- 1 Cup sour cream shopping list
- 3 Tbsp. Amaretto di Saronno shopping list
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine (melted) shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 325 F & butter a 9" Springform pan.
- For Crust: Combine and mix well the graham cracker crumbs, almonds, sugar, and 1 Tbsp. Amaretto.
- Press into bottom & 1.5" up the sides of the springform pan.
- Refridgerate.
- For filling: Beat cream cheese, sugar, flour, 1/3 cup Amaretto.
- Add eggs 1 at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Pour into crust and bake for 40 minutes.
- For topping: Mix until well combined the sour cream 3 Tbsp Amaretto, and the butter.
- Pour on top of the baked cheesecake.
- Return to oven, bake for an additional 8-10 minutes, or until set.
- Cool on a wire rack for 1 hour.
- Refrigerate for (at learst) 6 hours.... overnight for a better flavor!
- Remove sides of pan and garnish with 1/4 cup slivered almonds.
