How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 325 F & butter a 9" Springform pan.
  • For Crust: Combine and mix well the graham cracker crumbs, almonds, sugar, and 1 Tbsp. Amaretto.
  • Press into bottom & 1.5" up the sides of the springform pan.
  • Refridgerate.
  • For filling: Beat cream cheese, sugar, flour, 1/3 cup Amaretto.
  • Add eggs 1 at a time, beating well after each addition.
  • Pour into crust and bake for 40 minutes.
  • For topping: Mix until well combined the sour cream 3 Tbsp Amaretto, and the butter.
  • Pour on top of the baked cheesecake.
  • Return to oven, bake for an additional 8-10 minutes, or until set.
  • Cool on a wire rack for 1 hour.
  • Refrigerate for (at learst) 6 hours.... overnight for a better flavor!
  • Remove sides of pan and garnish with 1/4 cup slivered almonds.
