Ginger Root Greens

- 1 carton (12 oz) cottage cheese shopping list
- 4 tbs butter shopping list
- 1 clove garlic, cut into two pieces shopping list
- 1/2 tsp pepper shopping list
- 1/4 tsp ginger, ground shopping list
- 1/8 tsp cinnamon, ground shopping list
- 1/8 tsp cloves, ground shopping list
- 2 tbs onions, minced shopping list
- 1 green chili, chopped shopping list
- 2 tsp gingerroot shopping list
- 2 pounds collard greens, fresh and chopped shopping list
How to make it
- Put cottage cheese, 2 tbs butter, garlic, pepper, ginger, cinnamon, and cloves in a bowl and stir. Preheat oven for 300 degrees. Let stand for 20 minutes.
- Take garlic out. Cook onion, chili, gingerroot, and collard greens in 2 tbs butter in oven until tender, approximately 30 minutes. Drain. Serve collards over cottage cheese mixture.
