Ingredients
- 1 Can tomato soup shopping list
- 1/2 Cup water shopping list
- 2 Envelopes unflavored gelatin shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 Cup Cream cottage cheese shopping list
- 1/2 Cup Miracle Whip shopping list
- 1 Cup celery,chopped shopping list
- 1/2 Cup green pepper,chopped shopping list
- 1/2 Cup radishes,chopped shopping list
- 1/2 Cup walnuts,chopped shopping list
- 2 Tablespoon green onion,slices shopping list
- lettuce,Whole Piniento,green pepper...to dress it up after chilled and taken out of mold...You can try to dress it up...but,it's not going to the Prom. shopping list
How to make it
- Take out mold,with a tight seal,and set it aside,just for a jiff.
- In pan,stir together,soup,water,gelatin,salt.
- Let set for 10 minutes to soften.
- Now over low heat,stir,until it dissolves.
- Pour into container,add cottage cheese,miracle whip.
- Cover...and chill
- You want this the consistency of unbeaten egg whites.
- Fold in celery,green pepper,radishes,walnuts,green onion.
- Pour into mold.
- Seal
- Refrigerate...overnight,or till firm.
- Next day,carefully unmold onto plate,and surround with lettuce leaves.
- Accessorize by... cutting the pimiento and green pepper to fit design.
- Note: This recipe came out about the same time the movie did in 1951...
