How to make it

  • Prepare and bake cake mix as directed on box; cool completely.
  • Crumble cooled cake into a large bowl.
  • Mix thoroughly with frosting (it may be easier to use fingers to mix together).
  • Roll mixture into quarter size balls and place on cookie sheet. Insert a lollipop stick into each ball; chill for approximately 2 hours.
  • Melt CANDIQUIK® Microwaveable Tray according to directions on package. Dip cake pops in the melted CANDIQUIK®; place in styrofoam block or on wax paper until set.
  • Decorate with icings, candies and colored sugars. Voila!!
  • TIP: If cake balls start to stick or get gooey when dipping, place the remaining cake balls in the refrigerator for 20-30 additional minutes.
