Natural Household Multi-purpose Cleaner

This isn't a recipe for food. But you can definitely use it in the kitchen. This is a recipe I got from my local food co-op. It's not exact measurements, but it's the ingredients that are important. It is non-toxic so it is great for pet owners or if you have children. Ingredients
- 1 spray bottle shopping list
- white vinegar shopping list
- 2 -3 Tablespoons of borax shopping list
- 1/4 cup of dish soap shopping list
- 10 drops of lavender essential oil shopping list
- hot water shopping list
- funnel shopping list
How to make it
- In a separate container dissolve borax in 1/2 cup of hot water. (Use funnel to add ingredients so it is less messy.) In spray bottle fill 1/4 of the way with vinegar. When borax is dissolved add to spray bottle. Add soap slowly to prevent bubbles.Fill the bottle slowly almost to the top with hot water. Add drops of essential oil. I like to use lavender, but you can use any kind you like. Just make sure it is a true essential oil , there are fake ones out there. Tea tree oil is also a good disinfectant so I sometimes add in a few drops of that. Put on the lid and shake up. Non-abrasive cleaner that can be used on counter tops and sinks.
