Portuguese Codfish Fritters - Pataniscas de Bacalhau

- 1 handsize codfish steak, boiled and bones and skin off shopping list
- 2 tbsp flour shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 1/2 medium size onion, finelly chopped´ shopping list
- 1 garlic clove, finelly chopped shopping list
- 1/2 tbsp parsley, finelly chopped shopping list
- pepper to taste shopping list
- 2 tbsp olive oil to fry shopping list
How to make it
- After you boil the cod let it cool for 10 minutes and flake it into a bowl. See Photo
- Add egg, flour, garlic, onion and parsley. See Photo
- Mix well together until you get a paste. See Photo
- Fry each cake over medium-high heat (I used 1 tbsp as a measure) 2 or 3 minutes each side, until golden. See Photo
- Serve with tomato rice - codfish fritters best friend :)
