How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
  • Shred cabbage or cut cabbage into 12 wedges; pull wedges apart. Toss on a large rimmed baking sheet with whole grape tomatoes, oil, 2 teaspoons salt, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. (Lining the baking sheet with aluminum foil makes clean-up SO much easier!)
  • Cover sheet tightly with foil. Bake until cabbage is crisp-tender, about 20 minutes.
  • Remove foil; sprinkle with balsamic & brown sugar. Mix well and continue cooking, until tender and browned in spots, 20 to 25 minutes more.

I love both cabbage and balsamic vinegar. Sounds delicious. Bookmarked to try.

Yay! We loved this! Used green cabbage and didn't have the grape tomatoes so I sliced then halved a couple of romas. Also I cut back on the cook time some cause we like a little crunch to our cabbage. Balsamic is great with cabbage! Never knew! Thanks!
