Chunky Cinnamon & Sugar Applesauce
- 8 cups chopped, peeled tart cooking apples
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
How to make it
- Combine all the ingredients.
- Cover and cook over medium-low heat for 30 to 40 minutes or until apples are tender, stirring occasionally.
- Leave chunky (my preference) or mash apples (a potato masher works well) until sauce is desired consistency.
- Serve warm or cold.
