Guacaverde Salsa

- 2 haas avacado shopping list
- 1 jalapeño shopping list
- 1 poblano shopping list
- 1 bunch cilantro shopping list
- 4 garlic cloves shopping list
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar shopping list
- 1 onion shopping list
- 4 tomatillos shopping list
- 1 lime shopping list
- 1 tbsp splenda shopping list
- 2 tsp cumin shopping list
- 1tbsp oregano shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/2 tsp cayenne shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 450
- Arrange tomatillos, poblano, onion and garlic on a baking sheet. Pop them in the oven to roast about 15 minutes to bring up the flavor.
- Halve and pit the avocado and scoop out the insides.
- Zest the lime.
- Put the avocado, jalapeno, cilantro, lime zest, lime juice, vinegar. splenda and spices into a food processor and puree.
- Add the roasted vegetables and puree again until smooth.
- Chill for a couple of hours before using.
- Yields about 4 cups
