12345 Cake

This is, without a doubt, the easiest way to teach someone how to make a simple cake. This is how I learned back when they still taught home econ. in school!!!!
Ingredients
- 1 cup oil shopping list
- 2 cups sugar shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- 4 cups flour shopping list
- 5 teaspoons baking soda shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla shopping list
- 2 cups milk shopping list
How to make it
- In a mixing bowl, mix the ingredients in order as they are listed.
- Beat with a hand mixer at high for about 5 minutes.
- Pour into greased and floured cake pans.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 30-35 minutes until knife comes out clean when inserted in the center.
- Cool and apply your favorite icing.
