Almond Biscotti Recipe
This biscotti goes well with an earlier post of mine, the grand marnier Chocolate fondue

Ingredients
  • 1/2 c caster sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp vanilla essence
  • 3/4 c plain flour, sifted
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup allmonds, chopped
  • extra flour for dusting

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 180.c and line a baking tray with baking paper.
  2. whisk egg,sugar, and vanilla together in a bowl.
  3. add flour, baking powder and mix until well combined.
  4. stir through almonds, dust work bench nd hands well with the extra flour.
  5. shape dough into a 25 cm log and place on baking try, bake aprox 30mions or until golden, then cool.
  6. reduce oven temp to 120.c and use a serrated knife to cut log into 1.5 cm slices.
  7. lay the [prepared slices on to the baking tray and cook again for another 10mins.
  8. turn and bake for an additional 10 mins, or until biscotti has dried out.
