Yes, I know what a real youvetsi is. Infact I know several versions thereof. Arnaki Youvetsi of course is the most common, but there is also Hirino Yiouvetsi and Kotopoulo Youvetsi and still more. I looked a a book by an Australian Greek who has taken old traditional Greek recipes and their names and has innovated them. Is this wrong? Maybe I did misuse the name, and I was told that I did so by another Greek too!! I will post my authentic yiovetsi recipe and perhaps you will like it. All the writer of this recipe was trying to do is be creative.
