How to make it

  • Boil the Turkish lentils for 5 minutes with a piece of kombu seaweed (these are quick-cooking lentils), straining and processing.
  • Apart saute onion and garlic finely chopped, added to processed lentils, chop the basil leaves and add along with the cumin.
  • Add grated cheese, rolled oats, egg, mix the flour and water and add to the preparation of lentils.
  • Salt, to form the balls and roll in the breaded.
  • Cook in a little oil until golden brown, drain on paper towels.
