How to make it

  • prepare the coconut milk in advance, set aside
  • in a wok, put in cooking oil
  • sautee garlic and onions
  • add in bagoong
  • stir in kalabasa and sitaw, stir fry until bagoong is mixed with the veggies evenly
  • cover the wok until the veggies are crispy tender
  • lower the heat and add in coconut milk
  • cover until coconut milk boils
  • remove cover and let the coconut milk reduce to desired amount
  • turn off stove as soon as kalabasa and sitaw are tender
  • serve with steamed rice
  • goes well with fried fish
