Kalabasa At Sitaw Sa Gata

- 1medium whole kalabasa, chopped into bite sized pieces with skin removed shopping list
- 3 tali ng sitaw shopping list
- 4 tbsp. bagoong alamang shopping list
- 1 2-3 cups coconut milk shopping list
- garlic (5 cloves, chopped) shopping list
- onion (1 whole, chopped) shopping list
- 2 tbsp. cooking oil shopping list
How to make it
- prepare the coconut milk in advance, set aside
- in a wok, put in cooking oil
- sautee garlic and onions
- add in bagoong
- stir in kalabasa and sitaw, stir fry until bagoong is mixed with the veggies evenly
- cover the wok until the veggies are crispy tender
- lower the heat and add in coconut milk
- cover until coconut milk boils
- remove cover and let the coconut milk reduce to desired amount
- turn off stove as soon as kalabasa and sitaw are tender
- serve with steamed rice
- goes well with fried fish
