How to make it

  • Saute the sausage, diced bell pepper and diced tomato in garlic oil until tender. Add contents of package rice mix and 2 cups water plus 2 tbs margarine or butter and simmer covered for about 7 minutes stirring occasionally then uncover and cook until liquid is absorbed. Add shrimp and stir to incorporate. Move from heat and allow to rest until desired consistency. Top with green onions and any additional seasoning desired (Cajun spice or pepper- do not add salt)
