Lime Shrimp
From gourmetana 9 years agoIngredients
- 1 pound shrimp/tiger prawn, shelled and deveined shopping list
- 1 garlic clove, finely minced or crushed shopping list
- 1 tbsp butter shopping list
- 1 tsp olive oil (just a drizzle) shopping list
- zest of 1 lime shopping list
- juice of 1 lime shopping list
- salt to taste (I didn't use pepper on this one, I think it disrupts the delicate aroma of the lime. However, if you disagree please use it) shopping list
How to make it
- After the shrimp is cleaned marinate it with the garlic, lime zest and juice of half the lime.
- Put a skillet on medium/high heat.
- Drop in the butter and olive oil and let it melt.
- Saute the shrimp with all the marinating juices for 2 or 3 minutes or until the shrimp is perfectly pink.
- Season with salt (I used fleur de sel) and pour over the other half of the lime juice and stir.
- It's ready to serve.

Yummy! I don't believe I ever had lime on shrimp before - just lemon. I loved it! I cut the shrimp count in half because it was just for me. Made it exactly as written and let it marinade for 10 minutes. I added my picture and a tad more here more
