Curry Toast

- 1 package of engish muffins(6 muffins) shopping list
- 5 Tb butter shopping list
- 1 C of shredded american or cheddar cheese shopping list
- 1 C of shredded Swiss cheese shopping list
- 1/4-1/3 C mayonaisse shopping list
- 1 bunch of green onions chopped up (into the green parts) shopping list
- 1 tsp. hot or sweet ( regular) Curry powder shopping list
- 1-2 garden tomatoes (optional) shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to low broil. open the muffins
- and place cut side- up on lined baking sheet.
- put in the oven and toast the muffins as dark as you would like them (2-4 minutes).
- Remove from the oven and butter all 12 muffins.
- Mix the cheeses gently with the mayonnaise. Mix in the green onions and Curry powder.
- If you choose to use fresh tomatoes slice thinly and blot the extra juice on paper towels,
- and divide the sliced tomatoes among the muffins.
- Cover the muffins with the cheese mix
- and toast under the broiler until golden brown 4-8 minutes.
- For hors d'oeuvres, slice in quarters and serve hot
- or leave as- is serve with soup or salad for a nice filling lunch.
