  • Sea Salt,and Pepper shopping list
  • 4 Salmon Fillets...Wild Chinook that has dined on phytoplankton,and krill that also has nibbled on this very important base of the food chain.Althou I enjoy wild salmon very much...so do Orcas,Bears and Eagles,and with the great consumption by humans has somewhat put a strain on other creatures food supply...somewhere within the equation there is a care for their share. shopping list

How to make it

  • Mix together the honey,vinegar,whiskey,thyme,zest,oil,salt and pepper,pour over salmon and marinate about four hours under wraps in a cool place.
  • Taken to an elevated heat of four hundred fifty degrees,remove the marinaded salmon from it's cold habitat and place on a rack over a roasting container,you may now grill or bake for ten to twelve minutes,basting once with a bit of reserved marinade,if you have ever prepared salmon like this before you will know when it is done to perfection...by the color of juice that it exudes.

  • Flageolet Beans,the caviar of beans...or...Matter of Fact Peas,the mushy pea...or...Gremolata,the herb condiment...A Simple Salad of romaine lettuce,tomato,ripe avocado,and chevre cheese if you please,all dressed up in a couple tablespoons of olive oil,white balsamic vinegar,honey,lemon juice,sea salt and fresh ground pepper whisked all together and allowed to get to know one another just sitting about on the countertop or table as they meet and meld their flavors,slices of Beer Bread with butter.
