How to make it
- ~ Gotgamssam ~
- Sice open the persimmons,making sure not to cut them all the way through.
- Open them up and remove the seed.
- Flatten them out and trim the edges to make rectangular strips.
- Put them side by side with sticky part up.
- Add three halved walnuts lengthwise,and with the wrinkly part down.
- With three more halve walnuts to fit on the slices like lids.
- Roll up the persimmon,and cover with glad wrap and press together.
- Keep in freezer.
- Serve with tea and slice the wraps into one third inch pieces.
- ~ Pomegrante Tea ~
- Wash the pomegrante in cold water and dry with a cotton towel.
- Place on cutting board and cut in half.
- Take one half over a large bowl and tap the skin with a wooden spoon.
- Pick out any broken membranes.
- Keep the seeds in the refrigerator,chilled before serving,or making tea.
- Place seeds in a bowl,crush them coarsely with a pestle about 50 to 60 times.
- Add the sugar and mix well.
- Put mixture in a glass jar,and make the tea right away,or,keep in the refrigerator for up to one month.
- When you are ready...Put about one fourth cup of pomeranate seeds and juice in a tea cup,and add hot water,mix,serve hot.
