Ingredients

How to make it

  • Melt cocoa butter in a double boiler on medium/low heat.
  • Remove from heat, and stir in Coconut Oil, Cacao Powder, and Honey. Stir well until smooth and creamy.
  • Put 12 cupcake liners into 2 cupcake pans, and pour a bit of the chocolate into each one (enough to cover the bottom), and pop them into the freezer for 10-15 minutes.
  • Mix Peanut Butter, Honey, and Salt together, and heat briefly in separate bowl.
  • Once the chocolate in the cupcake pans is chilled and hard, add a spoonful of peanut butter filling into the center of each one, and press it down a bit.
  • Pour the rest of the chocolate over the candy, covering the peanut butter.
  • Pop them into the fridge to chill completely. Store in fridge.

OMG!!! One of the best things I've ever eaten! Most "paleo" chocolate just uses coconut oil but the addition of coconut butter (which is what I used) just puts it over the top! Coconut butters vary in quality and I bought a good one and because it had a natural sweetness to it I barely added any honey to sweeten it. Same with the peanut butter, I bought a really good natural brand that is ultra smooth and choose not to add any honey at all. Mine were like eating dark chocolate peanut butter cups. OUTSTANDING!!

Funny you should say that... I DO wash my face with honey and baking soda, and I DO use coconut oil and cocoa butter in my body butter recipe. LOL!
