- 3 lb tomatillos shopping list
- 3 lb pork shoulder shopping list
- 2 bunches of cilantro shopping list
- 2 boxes of chicken stock * shopping list
- 8 cloves of garlic shopping list
- 1 onion shopping list
- 6 peppers, jalapeno, Serrano, anaheim shopping list
- Salt and pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Cube the pork and brown it with salt and pepper. Combine with the chicken stock, cilantro, onion, and garlic. Roast the peppers and tomatillos; add to the other ingredients. Slow cook for 6-8 hours.
- I like a smoother chili, so I usually blend the onion, garlic, cilantro, peppers, and tomatillos with the stock.
- If you have time, skip the chicken stock and make your own with the pork shoulder remnants.
