Butterscotch Sauce

- 1 cup packed brown sugar shopping list
- 1/4 cup heavy cream shopping list
- 3T butter shopping list
- 2T light corn syrup shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla shopping list
- pinch of kosher or sea salt shopping list
How to make it
- In a heavy saucepan, combine all ingredients except the vanilla and salt.. Bring to a boil over medium heat; cook and stir for 3 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla and salt.
- Cool to room temperature. Cover and store in the refrigerator. To reheat, microwave at 50% power for 1 minute or until heated through. Serve warm over ice cream.
