How to make it

  • In a heavy bottomed pan, Bring milk to a boil, add lemon juice and stir gently, heat it until the milk begins to curdle.
  • In a muslin cloth or strainer, pour it and let all the water drain.
  • Add flour to this cheese, and knead it in a separate bowl until smooth.
  • Make about 1 inch balls( the size doubles when boiled).Let it be firm.
  • Take a wide pan covered with 3/4th water. Boil it and add these balls to it one by one carefully.
  • cover the pan and boil for 10 minutes.
  • The balls have been doubled in its size.
  • Meanwhile in other pan add sugar and water and prepare a light sugar syrup, then add cardamom powder and rose water to it.
  • Add these balls into hot sugar syrup, let it boil for 2 minutes, then cover it and keep aside.
  • Serve when it cools down.
