Roasted Mushrooms With Garlic And Thyme

- 16 even-sized open cup mushroom stalks cut level shopping list
- 3 T. olive or vegetable oil shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic , chopped very finely shopping list
- 3 T. unsalted butter, softened shopping list
- 2 T fresh thyme, chopped shopping list
- 12 t. fresh breadcrumbs shopping list
- 1 1/2 T. ;lemon juice shopping list
- salt and fresh ground black pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- 1. Preheat the oen to 400 degrees F. Lightly fry mushrooms cap side down in hot oil for 2-3 minutes.
- 2. Arrange mushrooms in a 9x13 cooking dish with stalks facing upwards.
- 3. In small bowl mix together the butter, garlic, thyme, lemon juice and seasoning.
- 4. spoon a little garlic butter onto each mushroom, the lightly press breadcrumbs on top.
- 5. Either refrigerate for later or bake immediately in oven for 15 minutes or golden around the mushroom cap.
