How to make it

  • CRUST
  • Mash the dates with the chopped walnuts.
  • Use the hazelnut meal to thicken mix.
  • Line a pie dish with baking paper.
  • Put mix into pie dish as a crust/base for the pie.
  • FILLING
  • Blend all ingredients together.
  • Let sit for 15 minutes. Blend again.
  • Sit for another 15 mins then blend again.
  • TOPPING
  • Blend all ingredients together.
  • Chill each section of pie separately.
  • Assemble pie just before serving.
  • Pour chia seed mix into pie crust.
  • Smooth out.
  • Spread over the avocado topping.
  • Pop in freezer for 30 minutes.
  • Serve with some fresh or frozen berries
  • Can be served with freshly whipped cream and a dusting of chocolate.

    Sounds decadent but what could I sub for the macadamia milk? It's not available where I live.

    I am a chocoholic and I was so pleased when I invented this. It does really satisfy chocolate cravings. YAY!
