Buttered Pasta

- • 1 cup cooked short pasta Per serving; elbow, penne, bow tie, etc. shopping list
- • 1 tsp. butter; per serving. shopping list
- • ¼ tsp. parsley; per serving. shopping list
- • ¼ tsp. basil; per serving. shopping list
- • A light grating of parmesan or romano cheese, per serving; to taste. shopping list
- • Salt and FG pepper to taste. shopping list
How to make it
- 1. In a suitable pot cook the pasta al dante, rinse and drain.
- 2. Rinse the pot and return it to the stove.
- 3. Melt the butter and add the pasta, basil and salt and FG pepper.
- 4. Stir to heat through and combine flavors.
- 5. Transfer to a suitable bowl and sprinkle with parsley and grated cheese.
- 6. Serve hot.
