Easy Baked Donuts Recipe

How to make it

  • Lightly grease donut pan( this makes 8 nice size donuts) so you need 2 pans but won't use the whole second pan .
  • Preheat oven to 375
  • In a bowl mix together the dry ingredients. Stir in egg, vanilla bean and maple flavoring. Stir in half and half and melted butter. Spoon into prepared pans and bake 10 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and place on rack . Cool slightly.
  • Make glaze : in a bowl mix together softened butter and maple flavoring. Stir in powder sugar and half and half. Dip donuts in glaze and place back on rack to allow to set.
  • Drizzle: mix together powder sugar, milk and if desired food coloring. This should be thicker than the glaze but not too thick. Drizzle over donuts. Decorate if desired with chopped nuts or sprinkles.
