How to make it

  • Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
  • Fold in thawed strawberries and juice.
  • Chill until partially set.
  • Whip cream with sugar and salt.
  • Whip gelatin mixture, then fold in whipped cream.
  • Tear cake into pieces.
  • Grease a 9 x 13 inch glass pan.
  • Layer half of cake pieces, half of gelatin mixture, then repeat layers.
  • Refrigerate until ready to serve. 8 to 12 servings.
