- 6 c. popped corn shopping list
- 2 c. nuts (I use pecans) shopping list
- 1 1/3 c. brown sugar shopping list
- 1/2 c. corn syrup shopping list
- 1 c. margarine shopping list
- 1 t. vanilla shopping list
How to make it
- 1. Pop your corn and let it cool completely.
- 2. Mix sugar, syrup and margarine on medium heat in a thick-bottomed saucepan.
- 3. Bubble this mixture for 25 minutes, stirring constantly.
- 4. Remove from the heat and add the vanilla.
- 5. Cool slightly.
- 6. Pour over the popcorn and nuts in large, lightly buttered glass or metal bowl and mix thoroughly with large, lightly buttered wooden or metal spoon.
- 7. Spread on lightly buttered cookie sheet(s) and leave overnight.
- 8. Store loosely in covered containers.
- Makes wonderful gifts.
