Hot Mushroom Tarts

- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened shopping list
- 1/2 c. flour shopping list
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened shopping list
- 3/4 lb. fresh mushrooms, chopped shopping list
- 1 large onion, finely chopped shopping list
- 1 t. salt shopping list
- pepper to taste shopping list
- 1/4 c. sour cream shopping list
- 2 t. flour shopping list
How to make it
- Mix cream cheese, flour and butter together; cover and let stand 1 hour.
- In a non-stick skillet, using a small amount of butter, cook mushrooms and onion until soft. Season with salt and pepper. Add flour and sour cream.
- Roll out dough and cut to fit small tart shells.
- Fill about two thirds full with mushroom mixture.
- Bake in preheated 350 degree oven until shells are golden brown, about 10 to 15 minutes. Makes 48 tarts. Freezes well. Reheat in 350 oven until hot.
