How to make it

  • Mix cream cheese, flour and butter together; cover and let stand 1 hour.
  • In a non-stick skillet, using a small amount of butter, cook mushrooms and onion until soft. Season with salt and pepper. Add flour and sour cream.
  • Roll out dough and cut to fit small tart shells.
  • Fill about two thirds full with mushroom mixture.
  • Bake in preheated 350 degree oven until shells are golden brown, about 10 to 15 minutes. Makes 48 tarts. Freezes well. Reheat in 350 oven until hot.
