How to make it

  • Blend cream cheese and butter. Add flour, mix well and refrigerate pastry at least 1 hour.
  • Melt butter in a medium saucepan or skillet.
  • Saute onions and mushrooms until tender. Add seasonings and flour and stir in sour cream.
  • Roll chilled pastry 1/8" thick on pastry cloth or floured surface. Cut pastry in 3 1/2" circles.
  • Place scant teaspoon of filling in center of each circle and fold in half, sealing edges. Prick tops with fork.
  • Bake at 450 degrees for 15 minutes or until golden. Makes 35 appetizers. Freezes well.
