Onion Mushroom Turnovers

- 3 3 oz pkg cream cheese, softened shopping list
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened shopping list
- 1 1/2 c. flour shopping list
- 3 T butter shopping list
- 1 large onion, chopped fine shopping list
- 1/2 lb mushrooms, chopped fine shopping list
- 1/4 t. thyme shopping list
- 1/2 t. salt shopping list
- 2 T flour shopping list
- 1/4 c. sour cream shopping list
How to make it
- Blend cream cheese and butter. Add flour, mix well and refrigerate pastry at least 1 hour.
- Melt butter in a medium saucepan or skillet.
- Saute onions and mushrooms until tender. Add seasonings and flour and stir in sour cream.
- Roll chilled pastry 1/8" thick on pastry cloth or floured surface. Cut pastry in 3 1/2" circles.
- Place scant teaspoon of filling in center of each circle and fold in half, sealing edges. Prick tops with fork.
- Bake at 450 degrees for 15 minutes or until golden. Makes 35 appetizers. Freezes well.
