How to make it

  • Cook and stir cherries, sugar, almond extract, and cinnamon in medium saucepan until sugar melts and the cherries are thawed. Mix in tapioca, bring to a boil. Reduce heat and let sit for 10 minutes. Mixture will thicken. Place dessert shells into a small dish. Top with cherry mixture and whipping cream. Top with slivered almonds.
