Cheesy Tomato, Pasta And Beef Soup

- 3/4 lb Lean ground beef shopping list
- 1 jar of Ragu (or whichever you prefer) shopping list
- Olive oil- 3 Tbsps shopping list
- 1/2 onion shopping list
- 1 tsp of garlic chopped shopping list
- 4 cups of chicken stock (I prefer the powdered) shopping list
- 1/2 cup of plain cream cheese shopping list
- 1 1/2 cup of pasta ( shells or macaroni) shopping list
- 1/4 tsp of cayenne (optional) shopping list
- 1/2 tsp of salt shopping list
- 1/4 tsp of pepper shopping list
- 1 cup of kidney beans (optional) shopping list
- 1 cup of diced tomatoes drained (optional) shopping list
How to make it
- In a large pot add the olive oil, onion and garlic, cook until onion is translucent
- add the ground beef and cook until no longer pink
- add the spaghetti sauce, chicken stock and spices (cayenne, salt and pepper)
- bring to a light boil and add the cream cheese until its blended
- add the pasta, beans and tomatoes, cook until done, approx 10 min
- NOTE This soup is a fairly thick one so if you desire more broth cook the pasta separate and add to the soup instead of cooking in the soup
- Serve with a nice crusty loaf
