  • Note 2: If you are making this to half with another person, or plan to save the other half until the next morning, DOUBLE the herbs/spices. If you are just going to drink half in the morning and half at night, leave the herbs/spices the same. I have the herbs/spices set for the amount that one person needs for 1 day. shopping list

  • NOTE 3: I use those TAB, DASH, and PINCH teaspoons, so my measurements may be in those amounts also. shopping list

  • NOTE 4: Anise seed and Star Anise are NOT the same thing, not even the same tree/plant. They do share a similar taste, hence the reason I have anise seed instead of star anise is I could not find star anise in the stores here. If you are using a Star Anise, just use 1, no need to grind it up, all the good stuff from Star Anise comes from the shell. ALSO, be very sure when buying Star Anise that you are buying the grown in China tar Anise/ Japan also grows a Star Anise and it is NOT edible, it is actually poisonous. Research first! shopping list

  • NOTE 5: I assume that most people know that Turmeric works better/harder when it has black pepper to interact with. Hence the reason the black pepper is in the mix. shopping list
