Feuillantines Aux Graines De Sesame Recipe
Cracker-like sesame crisps with a hint of sweetness. Use as garnish rather than croutons, or even tortilla chips.

Ingredients
  • 6 Tbsp all-purpose flour
  • Pinch of confectioner's sugar
  • Pinch of coarse salt
  • 2 large egg whites
  • 1/4 c unsalted butter, melted and cooled to room temp
  • 2 Tbsp sesame seeds

Directions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375.
  2. Combine the flour, sugar, and salt in a mixing bowl.
  3. Beat in the egg whites.
  4. Beat in the melted butter until well blended.
  5. Roll out and cut into 2" circles (either with a stencil or a cookie cutter), making sure there is at least 1/2" between each circle (tuille) on a baking sheet.
  6. Sprinkle to top of each tuille with the sesame seeds.
  7. Place in the oven and bake for about 3 minutes, until golden. Remove from oven and allow to cool on the baking sheet.
  8. When cool, using a spatula, carefully remove the tuilles from the baking sheet and store, separated with paper towels in a tightly covered container.
