How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a Bundt pan with cooking spray (I use Baker's Joy).
  • Prepare cake batter as directed on package and pour into Bundt pan.
  • Then beat cream cheese and margarine until smooth.
  • (I use a spoon and do it manually to avoid any chunks of cream cheese)
  • Gradually ad powder sugar to cream cheese mixture, beating until smooth. Keep adding until all powdered sugar is used.
  • Spoon mixture on top of cake batter, then bake for 35 minutes.
  • Remove & cool for 10 minutes (no longer!).
  • Using a thin rubber spatula or butter knife, loosen cake from pan, don't forget to loosen around tube.
  • Place cake plate over pan and flip. Spoon any extra gooey onto cake.
  • Cool completely before serving.
