Wild Berry Triangles

- 1 tsp vanilla essence shopping list
- 200 gm creamed cheese, softened shopping list
- 1 lemon, juice and zest shopping list
- 200 gm frozen mixed barriers, thawed and well drained (Fresh when Available) shopping list
- 1/2 cup sugar shopping list
- 1 tsp cinnamon powder shopping list
- 3 sheets of Mountain bread cut into halves shopping list
- 2 cups vegetable oil shopping list
How to make it
- In a bowl combine vanilla, creamed cheese, lemon juice and zest and 1/2 of the sugar until smooth. Fold in the berries carefully.
- Place a desert spoonful of the mixture onto the end of Mountain Bread, brush the edges with a little water and fold from point to point to make a triangle.
- Mix the remaining sugar with the cinnamon.
- Heat the oil until hot in a saucepan. Add the triangles and cook for 2 minutes or till golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towel to remove excess oil
- Toss through the sugar and cinnamon mix.
