Belgian Coffee Sundae Recipe
A brandy-laced syrup poured over coffee ice cream, topped with whipped cream and sprinkled with toasted nuts. An adult dessert that makes you feel like a kid.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup strong coffee
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon brandy
  • Coffee ice cream, for 4
  • Whipped cream, for 4 sundaes
  • Toasted nuts

Directions
  1. In a small saucepan, over medium-high heat, combine sugar and coffee.
  2. Bring to a boil.
  3. Cook, uncovered, until mixture thickens. About 10 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and brandy.
  5. Let cool.
  6. Spoon syrup over scoops of coffee ice cream.
  7. Top each with whipped cream and toasted nuts.
