Belgian Coffee Sundae

- 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar shopping list
- 1 cup strong coffee shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla shopping list
- 1 tablespoon brandy shopping list
- coffee ice cream, for 4 shopping list
- whipped cream, for 4 sundaes shopping list
- toasted nuts shopping list
How to make it
- In a small saucepan, over medium-high heat, combine sugar and coffee.
- Bring to a boil.
- Cook, uncovered, until mixture thickens. About 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and brandy.
- Let cool.
- Spoon syrup over scoops of coffee ice cream.
- Top each with whipped cream and toasted nuts.
