Ingredients

Directions
  1. Amazon Chocolate Cake
  2. In one bowl, sift together:
  3. 3 cups flour
  4. 2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
  5. 2 tsp baking soda
  6. 2 cups sugar
  7. ¼ cup powdered hazelnut coffee creamer
  8. 1tsp salt
  9. In another bowl, mix
  10. 2cups very cold water
  11. ½ cup + 2 tbs canola oil
  12. 1 tbs vanilla extract
  13. 2 tbs white vinegar
  14. Whisk wet and dry ingredients together,
  15. Pour thru a fine mesh strainer to eliminate all lumps,
  16. Then whisk again, until color is uniform.
  17. Pour into a well-greased 9x13x2 pan and bake
  18. @ 350 for 25 to 30 minutes.
  19. Mocha Frosting
  20. Over very low heat, combine and melt,
  21. 6 to 8 oz of unsweetened baking chocolate
  22. 1 tbs of instant coffee
  23. 3 tbs “espresso grind” dark roast coffee
  24. until smooth.
  25. In food processor, combine melted chocolate with
  26. 1 cup unsalted butter
  27. 2 cups powdered sugar
  28. and 1 tbs mayo
  29. Process till smooth then chill to spreading consistency.
