How to make it

  • in a pot, heat oil
  • saute garlic, onion, ginger
  • add chicken and stir until it changes color
  • add 5 tbsp patis
  • simmer for 5 minutes
  • add water and tanglad and bring to boil
  • simmer for 20 minutes
  • remove tanglad and add papaya
  • when papaya is cooked, add chilli pepper leaves
  • season to taste with patis
  • remove from heat
  • serve hot with patis and kalamansi (or lemon will do) on the side
  • best with white rice

    This looks easy and good..I have never had my chicken with papaya..this should be interesting! Thanks for sharing your recipe.
