How to make it

  • Add all ingredients except buffalo, sugar snaps and scallions to a slow cooker and stir to combine thoroughly. Cover and cook on high for 1 hour. Form buffalo into meat balls with egg, sprinkle with salt and add to stew Add sugar snaps. Cook for an additional 3 hours. Check seasonings and add salt, pepper and sugar to taste. Remove bay leaves and cover top with fresh minced scallion. Cook 5 minutes additional.
