Buffalo Balls Marsala

- 2 lbs. ground buffalo meat shopping list
- 1 egg, beaten shopping list
- 8-10 oz fresh sugar snap peas shopping list
- 1 bunch scallions, minced shopping list
- 10-12 oz. baby carrots shopping list
- 1 onion, chopped shopping list
- 1 10-oz can beef consommé shopping list
- 1 10-oz can diced tomatoes with jalapeno shopping list
- 1 10-oz canfull of sweet marsala wine shopping list
- 8-10 plump gloves of garlic, peeled shopping list
- 1 T. Worcester sauce shopping list
- 3 dried bay leaves shopping list
- 15 fresh sage leaves, chopped shopping list
- 4 T. fresh thyme shopping list
- 4 T. Wondra Flour shopping list
- 1 T. tomato paste shopping list
- 2 T. butter shopping list
- salt to taste shopping list
- sugar to taste shopping list
- black pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Add all ingredients except buffalo, sugar snaps and scallions to a slow cooker and stir to combine thoroughly. Cover and cook on high for 1 hour. Form buffalo into meat balls with egg, sprinkle with salt and add to stew Add sugar snaps. Cook for an additional 3 hours. Check seasonings and add salt, pepper and sugar to taste. Remove bay leaves and cover top with fresh minced scallion. Cook 5 minutes additional.
