Ingredients

1lb. ground turkey

1c chopped onion

3/4c chopped green pepper(optional)

1 can kidney beans

1 can (2c.) tomatoes,broken up

1can (16oz.) tomato sauce

1t. salt

1/4t pepper

1T chili powder

2 bay leaves

2 squares of hershey bar or 2 chocolate kisses or equivelant in other chocolate

Directions

Brown turkey,onion and pepper in heavy skillet.

Stir in remaining ingredients except chocolate.

Cover and simmer 1 hour. Last 10 mins. of cooking,add chocolate.

Remove bay leaves before serving.

Note: Trust me,you can't taste the chocolate but it adds to the taste.

I have changed this recipe a little. I add 2 or 3 chocolate kisses,a jalapeno pepper,1 tsp. cumin and some red pepper flakes depending on how hot you like it!
