Great chili with a little heat and smooth taste

Ingredients
  • 1lb. ground turkey
  • 1c chopped onion
  • 3/4c chopped green pepper(optional)
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • 1 can (2c.) tomatoes,broken up
  • 1can (16oz.) tomato sauce
  • 1t. salt
  • 1/4t pepper
  • 1T chili powder
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 squares of hershey bar or 2 chocolate kisses or equivelant in other chocolate

Directions
  1. Brown turkey,onion and pepper in heavy skillet.
  2. Stir in remaining ingredients except chocolate.
  3. Cover and simmer 1 hour. Last 10 mins. of cooking,add chocolate.
  4. Remove bay leaves before serving.
  5. Note: Trust me,you can't taste the chocolate but it adds to the taste.

I made it today it was so good and you dont taste the chocolate it just makes the broth alittle thicker.Try it you will like it..very easy to make.
