My Favorite Chai

- 4 cups water shopping list
- 4 cups skim milk shopping list
- 6 black tea bags shopping list
- 6 cardamom pods shopping list
- 1 1/2 inches cinnamon stick shopping list
- 6 peppercorns shopping list
- 3/4 tsp. fennel seed shopping list
- 6 cloves shopping list
- 1 1/2 inch piece of smashed grated ginger root shopping list
- 1/2 cup sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Put water into a saucepan.
- Add the spices.
- Add the tea bags.
- Bring to a boil and boil for about a minute.
- Remove from the heat.
- Add milk and sugar, stir.
- Strain into a container.
- Serve immediately or store in a container in the refrigerator, to heat later.
