This is the perfect way to use this cut of meat.
I make an Italian version but we cook it in tomato sauce instead. The slow cooking makes it so tender to die for. I love that you use this for a sandwich.

This method of cooking flank steak roast is perfect. We didn't add as many cloves but in place of them we added a palm full of juniper berries and always added a Bay leaf for good measure ;-) Thanks OM
