How to make it

  • Beat egg whites until frothy then add sugar, salt and cinnamon and beat 20 minutes.
  • Save 2 tablespoons of this mixture for icing.
  • Add almonds to remainder of mixture.
  • Roll thin on board well covered with powdered sugar then cut into shapes.
  • Cover with reserved icing and bake for 12 minutes at 350.
